Amelia, the founder of Kamersvol Geskenke, tells the story of humble beginnings
The story of Kamers is one of inspiration, support, belief and friendship.

It all started 7 years ago, when Lise-marie and Mias vacated their home and our new business moved in. In this beautiful home, my dream was first realized; creating a platform where creative people come together to inspire, encourage and support one another.  At the first Kamers in Groeneweide 3, we worked with 40 suppliers and had 800 visitors. Humble beginnings indeed. And so, through the years, I have been inspired, encouraged and supported by my friends and family:

Lise Marie with her incredible flair for colour and design; Mias and Jan who tirelessly supported us and picked up all the pieces we dropped; Corisa with words, inspiration and wisdom; Evette who challenged me to look at life through new eyes - with her originality and conceptual gift she styled the show for 3 years. She was truly responsible for that WOW when you first walk through the door at Kamers. Wanda pushed me to take the business to new levels - introducing the designers and concept stores.  With her true understanding of retail she has helped Kamers become a unique shopping experience. And of course my wonderful husband, mother and kids: My goodness, how unbelievable they have been.
They have done their fair share of delivering flyers, selling tickets, cooking and nurturing my tired soul.
