In celebration of Women’s Day we are featuring stories from seven diverse, strong women, all inspiring our team in their own unique way. We asked these ladies what it means to be a woman, as well as their take on being a business woman.
Carmen Rochelle, fashion designer behind Bear Bear & Me, a vintage inspired footwear collection, shares her story:
Every morning I put on my superhero cape and start my day!
Being able to find your passion and use your creative gifts while being a mother and wife is soul enriching. For many women in business balancing family life and work is a dynamic journey.
But with fire in your soul, a daily dose of grace and strength from God, being a woman in business became a reality for me with promise for the future. A sense of humour, kindness and patience makes it easier to navigate the daily challenges of life and business.
Today the possibilities for women in business are abundant. By being adaptive and re-inventing oneself, women can create in-roads in their industries whilst adding flair through their inherent qualities. So put on your superhero cape and add your unique touch to the world of business!
